we made mrs tirlangi angry today and the whole class apologised to her.anw,today was the official day robotics closed down. it will be an extremely long post!
rembering the times back in the past,we had both memorable and bad experiences.however,
it was this cca who allowed me to know nice people like jia xuan,song chen,jie xian,matthew,bryan they all.
i still remeber vividly how i got into robotics.initally,bonny and i wanted to join netball however,we didn't brought along our pe attire with us thus we forgo the cca.
we ended up looking for another cca.initally,we were interested in Radio Control Club and not Robotics club.As you notice,one is RC whule another is RCC.there's this guy i forgot who told us that RCC was RC.
so in the end,we joined Robotics Club without knowing we joined the wrong cca.we then realised that wai kit was in the same cca as us.
our first day in robotics was rather enjoyable and nicholas was the one who taught us.we had training for like less than one term before the outbreak of SARS and we were all quarantined.
when training resumes,NJRC was starting.For your info,NJRC refers to National Junior Robotics Competition.It is one of the most important competition for robotics.
That year,we sent in like 4 or 5 teams and bonny,wai kit and i were under jie xian and fairus.Bonny and i became the journalists for our group together with ppl like kerui and yew kiang.
we often slack alot and it resulted in us not being able to hand in our task on time.Everytime mr raj asked what we have completed,we often have to cough something out to report on what we had done.
in the end,it was mr raj who helped us out to do up the webpage and bonny and i got to skip music lesson and stink our butt onto the bench and concentrate on what mr raj is doing.
however,bonny and i got bored and we started playing on our own behind mr raj's back.NJRC that year was the best result we all achieved.out of 2 grps,aiman's grp got into top 10 while ours,flame of fire,got into top 20 where there were more than 100 schs participating.
when we were in sec two,the first competition we went to was the ITE dover one where bonny,wai kit,jie xian,fairus and i went for the competition.we managed to get first of the first lap.
we all like the fish and chips over there as it tasted very nice and is very cheap.in the past,mr raj was the teacher who will scream and rant at us for the slightest mistakes we did during the competition.
i forgot to mention,the sec ones who came in,i didn;t really knw them or rather i don't even knew that they exist.july came and NJRC came again where this time round,we only sent 2 teams i tink.in the end,we won nothing.
there was also the soccer robot which aiman,nadzir they all participated.the year ended where we all had to do cleaning up of the room.sec two was a rather memorable one when ppl who were in ITE dover mobile robot got to stay back after the competition till 8pm to do up the work.
we had to much on instant noodles and drank rose syrup when we are famished as we did not have the time to go out to buy food in.
sec three came and bonny,wai kit and i became admin people.all of us were being in charge of one particular group.that year for ITE DOVER mobile robot,matthew and jie xian if i'm not wrong went for the competition.
that year,mr raj didn't went for the competition and me,wk and bonny went there our own.it was raining like nobody's business at that time.
in the end,not only the fish and chip store wasn't open,we also did not managed to win the competition.
NJRC tat year,it was pathetic!we lost terribly and even before the closing ceremony,we left!instead,i met up with others to go out.
that year,most of the sec ones are either strange ppl or they have serious attitude problem.only one of them is normal and that is my younger brother,song chen who is also the pornstar!
that year,i get to know ppl like jia xuan and song chen better and we often hang out togther.often slck around and roam around the school during our breaks or when mr raj wasn;t around.
time passed and it's already my 4th year in robotics.strange enough,i started enjoying to go for robotics.i made the effort to go for training weekly.
this time,sec ones came and it was super funny.we get to interview them and often get hilarious jokes.although they are irritating at times,but they do entertain us when we don;t feel good.
i was there to train the sec ones and at times,i do get extremely frustrated with them.they often embarrass me in public and mr raj told me they embarass him too.lols!
this yr,we managed to go for the ITE DOVER mobile robot for the last time and we got nth.the system was super bias.
at times,we quarrel with one another,get pissed off with one another but we also had fun together.anw,despite the club being closed down,the bond between us is still there.
